The Internship ||| The Candidates ||| Season Highlights ||| The Final Rose
Episode 9 left us digging our nails into a cliffside as Clara stated to the candidates that none of them were worthy of the final rose. The hosts, Ellen Gowdy & Alesandra Woolley, Three Ships family guest stars, Emily McCrary-Ruiz Esparza & Kristen Lueck, as well as the CEO Zach Clayton himself stood in shock of Clara’s bold words.
Slowly but surely, the final episode began with each Three Ships affiliate leaving the Candidate Room-and the candidates themselves-behind.
The Final Rose…?
Clara was not alone in her sentiment for long. Upon closer consideration, the hosts, CEO, and Three Ships family guest stars all found the candidates to be lacking.
“I struggled with choosing between Nellie and Freesia. While one has journalism experience, the other has concrete freelance skills. Dang…isn’t there someone with both?!”
“To be honest, I did really love Brandy. Her personality and drive is great, her experiences blogging and with social media are concrete. But she doesn’t have the industry training like the other two. Where is the perfect mix?”
“I thought this was the best group of candidates ever. And they are! They’re great, but a bit 2D individually. If only they could combine into one person…”
One Last Candidate
While each of the candidates possessed strong qualities, the platform of the The InternshipTM instilled in each Three Ships family member a want for something MORE. Someone more.
With a scrambled flourish, CEO Zach Clayton hastily hooked up an old typewriter, a hairdryer, a yard of pink felt, and a super computer. Surely, there had to be one last candidate whom the super computer, despite how super it was, had missed. With a dash of sugar and a sprinkle of orange peel, the contraption was plugged into an outlet on both the computer and typewriter ends.
The Three Ships family watched in awe as one last funneled sheet of paper slid out of the hairdryer’s mouth. A resume.

All of a sudden, the Three Ships family’s hopes and dreams had been answered, albeit from the strangest last-ditch contraption imaginable.

Even if the cast and Three Ships family could have torn their eyes away from this majestic surprise entry, the Candidate Room had already emptied of original candidates, too.
Will Monique receive the final rose?
What about the internship it represents?
And why are we asking this at the end of the final episode?!
Tune back in between April 16-20 for the FINAL DECISION concerning this season of The InternshipTM. After all, who doesn’t love a surprise bonus episode?
