You’ve met both hosts and even the CEO. And don’t worry-you’ll meet additional Three Ships Family professionals soon. But for now, let’s take a look at this season’s candidates-turned-contestants.
Nellie Papier, Candidate
“I’m after the truth, good individual! Sir is an outdated term and research into such is important!”
Nellie is a journalist, researcher, and rights activist. She is extremely involved in the UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Media and Journalism, and will graduate from the school with a Bachelor of Arts in May 2019. She is a sister of the cultural-interest sorority Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority Inc. and recently won the 2018 National Kappa Social Media Competition for mental health and self-care promotions.
Nellie wishes to build upon her concrete journalism skills and expand her toolbox by representing and pitching to the media for the Three Ships Family. To her, everything is a news piece that can and should be told succinctly, accurately and with a flourish.
