While I strive to fill my days with pink sugary drinks and sunshine, I can never resist a new all-black outfit. My closet seems to continuously argue that you can never have too many little black dresses.
And I love it! But as much as I love the aesthetic, pulling it off on hot days requires a touch of creativity. Thankfully, YesStyle came to my rescue on this one. As an online retailer focused on making Asian styles globally accessible accessible, YesStyle is my go-to for quality, cute items at reasonable prices.

The first piece is a “Cropped Lace Camisole Top” from 59 Seconds, which comes in one size in both black and white.
As a small-framed, 5’ 3” girl I worried that this piece would drown me. Thankfully the top was a flattering fit and proved extremely comfortable as well.
Soft to the touch, the top feels and looks elegant but stretches remarkably well and has held up multiple washes (on no special settings-a huge plus to me).
The lace pattern is gorgeous and I absolutely love how it came out during this photoshoot. I want all my clothes to be low-maintenance, and thankfully the spandex and polyester build of this piece has made the lace durable.
Comfier than any crop top or bralette combo, this proves the perfect alternative match to a high-waisted skirt or party outfit.
Overall, this piece gets a 5/5. You can grab it here: Cropped Lace Camisole Top. I know I’ll be getting one in white very soon.
The second piece here is a “High-Waist Mini Skirt” from QZ Lady. This one is offered in many colors but is notably offered in only one size as well.
The skirt is made out of a pretty thick knitted fabric and is one again very stretchable. The material is thick enough to deem this appropriate for colder weather; thankfully it remained comfortable and non-constricted even as I wore it high-waisted on this hot photoshoot day.
While the length of the skirt will vary with how high you want to wear it, an easy pairing with some cute stockings can ease any worries of this skirt proving too short. Those under 5’ 3” may prefer to fold over a section of the skirt if it proves too long for a proper mini-skirt look. Overall, I feel like this skirt would be a better match with an oversized shirt or sweatshirt. Though it could work with a crop top on a taller girl, it felt like slightly too much fabric on me.
Once again, I threw this piece into a normal wash cycle and was sad to see bits and pieces of fuzz stick to it. These were easily removed by hand, proving a minor hassle that may be due to the machine.

The last piece here are “Heart Print Mock Thigh-High Tights,” also from 59 Seconds. If you’re into the stocking or knee-high sock aesthetic, these are perfect for you! Also in one size, they are quite stretchy but do require some delicate handling to prevent rips (as do all stockings). Held up in normal wash well.

Overall I was super happy with this YesStyle mini haul! 59 Seconds in particular proved a great marriage of style and comfort; can’t wait to go back for more.
